Whitney turned 5 months old a week & a half ago. Each month I take her picture (and did the same with Anne) next to this big stuffed "doggy bear" as we call it. I will post a couple of the pictures from our photo session... Whitney is finally gaining weight and really growing. We went yesterday to the pediatrician for her Synagis shot & they weighed her - she is now 11 lbs 14 oz. She gained 10 oz. since Jan. 6th (and most of this weight gain came by her bottle, all on her own!)
We also moved Whitney into her own crib the night she turned 5 months old. She had been sleeping in a bassinette next to our bed that Anne slept in, my brother, sisters & I slept in, and my Mom, aunts and uncles all slept in. I am sure it does not meet any of today's safety standards but we felt it was safe, in great condition and very meaningful that so many people in our family had slept there when they were tiny babies :)
I have to go pick up Anne from school. She goes to a 2 year old program one day a week and has so much fun. The time flies by while she is there! I always have this idea in my head that I will get so much accomplished while she is at school, but once again - I have no idea where the time has gone and not much beyond feeding & playing with Whitney + eating lunch has actually been accomplished. We have speech therapy this afternoon, but hopefully before and after therapy I can get some things done!

A few more pictures... I do not think Whitney will be fitting in Anne's doll stroller for too much longer, so here are a few pics of them with Whitney in the "doll" stroller :)

That's great news about Whitney's weight gain!! I remember shortly after Dylan's OHS, he was gaining like a madman!
I absolutely LOVE the pitures of your girls. That's too funny about putting Whitney in the doll's stroller! The way that Cassidy tears around the house with hers, I'd be terrified to see what would happen to poor ol' Dylan if I put him in there, lol!
And a 2 year old program...hm...sounds like something that I ought to look into for Cass!! Especially now that she's not napping as much!
So cute with her in the doll stroller!!
Your daughters are both adorable! What a beautiful family. I'm so glad to hear that everyone is doing so well!
Laura, It was so exciting to see you and your precious daughters yesterday. Thanks to you and Mike for sharing such blessings.
The pictures of the girls are

That pic of Whitney in the doll stroller next to Anne is too funny! Whitney looks awesome...she looks strong and healthy! Glad to hear that you all are doing so well.
happy 5 months! It'll be fun to watch her grow next to the stuffed dog and compare pictures each month. The ones in the doll stroller just cracked me up!
Every time I look at pictures of Whitney she takes my breath away, she is SO BEAUTIFUL!! The pictures of her in the baby stroller are adorable!!

Hey! I was just reading about Whitney's stay in the hospital after her heart surgery and not only do her and my little guy have the AV canal defect in common but our dog is on Prozac- similar to Xanex (spell?)! I thought that was funny- he has "issues" too- esp. with licking his darn paws-drives me insane! I need meds just because of him! Anyways just thought I'd share that!
