ABC program: What Would You Do?

I was putting away my Costco purchases tonight and had the tv on. A program on ABC caught my attention and my reaction caught me off guard. The program was "What Would You Do?". It brought me to tears to see the actors treating the clerk with Down syndrome like this, even though I knew they were acting! It just makes me sick to my stomach to see this kind of thing happen and to think that even though in this situation it was acting that there are times when actual people treat other people like this! I heard about this before it aired but didn't watch it. I know that there are so many people in the world that wouldn't speak up and it makes me so sad...

I was bawling. I was more upset with the the real people that did nothing!!!! They just stood there and acted like it was totally acceptable to do that. What if he was black or hispanic or whatever and the actors were calling him terrible things- they would have said something-it's just not right.

I just hope that it makes people stop and think. It's never acceptable to treat anyone like that...disabled or not

I had heard about this...couldn't bring myself to even turn on the TV. I thought it might hurt to much.... :(

I almost couldn't watch this! ABC had another one of these last year where a man was pretending to beat his girlfriend, and it was FRIGHTENING how few people stepped in to help.

VERY UPSETTING!! This is NOT the future that I hope and fight for, for Landon!! I'm angry that there are people out there who do these cruel things and I am even more angry at all those "not.so.innocent" bystanders. The berating was rather lengthy and should have been stopped immediately! But I will continue to hope and pray that there is MORE goodness in this world.

This just keeps the fire burning to continue to educate and advocate for our sweet children!!

I had it on DVR and almost didn't watch it because I was afraid of the response or lack there of I guess.
I love the guy that came out of the back of the store to defend him and talk about his sister. He was on a mission!

This was hard to watch, and part of me just wants to believe no one would be as horrible as the actors were toward another human.... It sort of opened my eyes to some things though. I understand people being quiet as not to be confronted themselves, but I don't think I'll be like that anymore.
