When we are finished reading stories every night before the girls go to bed, we always read the same goodnight poem at the end - the poem is "The Going to Bed Book" by Sandra Boynton
Tonight, Anne was saying it along with us and so we asked her if she knew the poem. She said almost the entire poem without us hinting to a few of the words. We loved it so much that I asked her if she would say it again if I got out my camera - if you haven't heard it before, it is a very cute book/poem... here is Anne's re-telling of "The Going to Bed Book":

Oh I loved Anne's recitation of
the poem...wow..only 3 and she could
recite all that! Amazing!
And how sweet that she let
Whitney play with her hair while
she spoke...
Two very sweet girls!
Enjoy them!
Thanks. God bless all. Love,
Aunt Kathy
How cute is that! She's very smart!
How sweet! Anne did a great job!
SO cute!!! And I love Whitney playing with Anne's hair - sooo much like Dylan and Cass!!! : )
Oh Laura, how precious. So glad you got that on video....such a priceless moment. Your girls are just so beautiful:) You can just tell they share a special bond. I love it! BTW, we love that book too:)
We love that book at bedtime.
Too cute!
How precious! I love how well she's memorized the book. Reminds me of my oldest who's 12 now. I also love Whitney playing with her hair and she didn't get bothered by it. John Michael has a thing for hair, too, and my Greta is so tolerant. Thanks for sharing.
So sweet! My kids always started by finishing the last word on each page...being able to recite more and more as they got older. Just the other night, I was reading this exact book to Brennan before bed - and when I got to the last page and read "rock and rock and rock to sleep" - he signed "sleep." Totally melted my heart.
we love that book! she did such a great job reciting it! The girls are just growing up so fast.
Very cute! we will have to check this book out! Murdoch would read for hours.
